Ernie began his professional music career in the 70's. He found himself touring and recording with such artists as Nicky Hopkins, Tim Bogart and later opening for Blue Oyster Cult, Thin Lizzy, YnT, White Lion, Great White, Dixie Dregs, Eric Burden and Montrose.
Ernie was inducted into the Las Vegas Rock n Roll Hall of Fame of the '80s. During his busy
career he also found time to co-host a TV show for five years showcasing local talent.
Ernie's presence is familiar at various venues around the Central Coast, where he is often invited to jump on stage for an impromptu jam with some of the best bands around.
Legends Band was founded over thirty years ago by Ernie Rodriguez and Demi Lee Solorio. Two young musicians, both passionate about music and their bands ability to share it with the world.
Legends started out by playing at local events as a party band and quickly gained a reputation for their high-energy performances, which eventually led to touring and extended shows in Las Vegas.
The Legends Band believes that music has the power to bring people together. We approach every event with this philosophy in mind. Our mission is to provide a musically exceptional performance and just as importantly, a fun and engaging atmosphere for everyone involved.
Demi Lee is a small town boy who progressively worked his way up the ranks of blues, metal, jazz and rock and roll drumming. He and Ernie share tales of life on the road, sleeping behind his drum kit on stage, and the school of hard knocks. It’s not all glamor, kids!
Demi has never lost his passion for playing or singing and a professional performance is what he strives to deliver at every show.
His determination has not only made him one of the most sought after musicians in the local community but he is well recognized on the world touring circuit as drummer for international recording artists such as Eric Sardinas and David M‘ore.

If that weren’t enough to keep this guy busy, more recently he has taken on the project of cultivating a new musical venture in The Door Jamz, a tribute band dedicated to the music of The Doors. Where does he find the time?
Born the youngest of nine children, Martin tends to be a bit on the quiet side. Perhaps that time was well spent by observing everything around him, especially art and music.
Not only has Martin mastered his craft of playing guitar and piano, he appears to be naturally adept at any instrument he picks up. Can you say prodigy? Shhh, don’t tell him.
It’s no surprise that someone with that much talent would also write, record and produce their own CD of original songs, or for that matter, create all of the artwork, liner notes and a website to promote it.
Encore Martin! We can’t get enough of this guy and neither can the fans.
Born in Los Angeles and raised in a musical family, Romi began playing guitar at age nine and started writing original songs soon after.
"I accidentally fell into playing bass but I've never regretted it. It's very empowering to team up with a great drummer like Demi. Together we are the heartbeat of the band."
Touring throughout the US, Canada, and Europe and performing in all types of venues from small pubs to large festivals, she prefers to play at local clubs and private parties.
"Our fans are family and we belong to a close network of musicians that respect and support each other. It doesn’t get better then that."
